Save for later
As the form is extensive it is important to realise the user may not have time to complete the form in one sitting. To help with this the form utilises a "Save for later" tool, sending the user a link to come back and edit the form at a later date. The edit link remains active for 30 days.

Stepped forms
Some forms are long and as such can look daunting to the user. To help users tackle forms we can present them in a stepped format. This has a positive effect on the user as it looks less daunting and they will think it will take less time to fill out - which in turns means they are more likely to engage.
